Baptism & Christening Dresses for Her Special Day

A baptism or christening is one of the first big milestones in a little girl's life, and the right dress makes the day feel every bit as special as it is. Our baptism and christening dresses are designed for babies and toddlers from newborn to 24 months (with several styles running up to size 12 for big sisters), in classic white, ivory and cream. Think bridal-inspired lace overlays, soft tulle skirts, peter pan collars and sweet embroidered details that photograph beautifully and feel gentle against delicate skin.

Whether the ceremony is in a cathedral, a country church or the backyard, every dress is made to be worn comfortably for a long day of cuddles, photos and celebration. Cotton linings, concealed zips and button backs make dressing simple, and most styles can be worn again for a flower girl role, a family wedding or a first birthday.

Finish the baptism outfit

Add a faux fur stole or bolero for cooler weather, and complete the look with white christening shoes, knit booties and lace socks from this collection. Dressing a baby boy? Our baby boy christening and baptism outfits include 3 and 4 piece suits, waistcoat sets and rompers. For older girls, our flower girl dresses and First Holy Communion dresses carry the same timeless, magical feel. Browse every milestone in one place on our shop by occasion page.
