Dressing kids for special occasions
Every outfit at Ollie's Place is chosen to be comfortable enough for a full day of celebrating and lovely enough for the photos. Most of our occasion dresses and suits run across several ages, so siblings can wear coordinating looks, and many styles are worn again for the next milestone.
What should a page boy wear?
Most Australian weddings dress page boys in a navy, grey or light grey suit that matches the groomsmen. For babies and toddlers, a shirt, waistcoat and shorts set is more comfortable than a full suit and photographs just as well.
Christening or baptism: is there a difference in what to wear?
No. The terms are used interchangeably in Australia, and traditional white or ivory is the usual choice for both girls and boys, although any smart outfit is welcome at most ceremonies.
When should I order a Year 6 formal dress?
Year 6 formals and graduations run through Term 4, so we recommend ordering by early October to allow time for delivery, a try-on and an exchange if she changes her mind.
