Not every child wants a full Halloween costume, and not every school allows one. This collection is our spooky season edit of Halloween clothes for kids: the Halloween pumpkin dress and spooky cat tee for girls, a baby Halloween sunsuit, and orange and black everyday pieces such as the orange tee, orange check shirts, the black ruffle flower top and a black bow tie that turn an ordinary outfit into something trick-or-treat ready on 31 October.

Halloween outfit ideas without a costume

Trick or treating: the pumpkin dress or spooky cat tee with black leggings, or an orange tee with dark shorts and a black bow tie.
School or daycare dress-up day: the orange and navy check shirt or orange flanno, which is still a normal shirt the next day.
Babies: the baby Halloween sunsuit, or an orange top and shorts set with a black bow hair clip.
Halloween party: a black and white lace dress or the black ruffle flower top from our girls party dresses and party tops, paired with a cat ear headband.

Sizes and stock

Halloween pieces are a small seasonal range at Ollie's Place and sell through in the last two weeks of October, so order early for a specific size. The orange and black pieces are everyday styles that run from baby to size 14 and are worn well beyond Halloween; the orange shirts also cover Harmony Day in March.

What comes next

Halloween is the start of the festive run. Our kids Christmas clothes collection follows straight after, with girls Christmas dresses, boys Christmas shirts and baby Christmas outfits, and the Black Friday sale arrives at the end of November. See every celebration on our shop by occasion page.
